CSIDNet for Southeast Asia and the Pacific
The Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) is pleased to invite expressions of interest for participation in the “Climate Sensitive Infectious Disease Network (CSIDNet) for Southeast Asia and the Pacific”, the first regional gathering of the CSIDNet, co-hosted by MORU and SPARKLE networks.
The gathering will bring together researchers and practitioners from across Southeast Asia and the Pacific to strengthen networks in climate-sensitive infectious diseases (CSID), identify shared research priorities, and foster new collaborations. Activities will include networking sessions, technical training on climate data analysis and modelling approaches for infectious diseases, and collaborative planning for future research and funding opportunities.
The event will take place at the Tropical Disease Research Center in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, on 22-24 July 2026.
Interested colleagues are invited to complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form by 28 May 2026. We welcome applications from those with interests in CSID and related research areas.
Location: Tropical Disease Research Center, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
