Frequently Asked Questions
We have begun to receive questions related to these job postings. We have answered them below for transparency and equity purposes. If you have other questions, feel free to email operations[at]csidnet . org.
- What are some of the biggest challenges or priorities for member engagement right now?
Currently, we are experiencing great growth and excitement since we are still coming off of three in-person launch events in 2024 and gaining lots of momentum going into the July 2025 event. We now have over 450 email list subscribers. Our membership committee is now working on a formal process to confirm members and also to begin to more clearly define the different tiers of membership for the network. Along with this is of course a nuanced understanding of what members and potential members want and how the network can better meet those needs. This is some of the early work that I imagine the HoM would be tackling together with the Membership & Outreach Committee.
- Are there specific gaps in working group participation or outreach efforts that the new Head of Membership & Outreach will be expected to address?Β Β
No, the head of membership is not expected to fill gaps in the working groups but rather, to support the work they are doing. For example, we have decentralized groups and fellows working in many different regions to build their local CSID communities. Is there a good way to keep abreast of who is doing what and who the relevant stakeholders are? This could perhaps be through the development of a CRM that the HoM would maintain and help others to use.
